What We're Offering

Ancestral Pathways Learning Collective is a collaborative offering of Kibilio Community and Farm & Crossing the Waters Institute for Cultural Exchange, providing a small, one day per week (Saturdays), nature-based learning program for children ages 3–12. Rooted in land, culture, and relationship, the Collective draws from the histories, wisdom, and living traditions of Africa and the African Diaspora. The program offers children an intentional learning space that honors curiosity, creativity, justice, cooperation, and collective care.

Designed as a thoughtful entry point into our broader vision, the Saturday School experience allows children, families, and educators to build trust, establish shared rhythms, and grow together over time while engaging questions of responsibility, belonging, and shared humanity.

A Day at Ancestral Pathways Saturday School

Each program day balances structured learning with hands-on, experiential activities. Children spend time outdoors, engage in creative and practical work, and participate in group experiences that encourage focus, collaboration, and self-expression.
